JanH · 14/02/2007 19:18

She's like a not-mini me, fio

The photos are fab, aren't they! It seems like a fairly mad time of year to make a journey like this but she was well up for it at Christmas.

how lovely JanH - I almost wish I was back there! (almost not not quite)

JanH · 14/02/2007 19:38

Oh I can imagine after the stay you had it'd be some time before you ventured that way again, sue! But lovely to see the pics anyway.

How are you and himself getting along at home? Is there an update anywhere yet?

OP posts:
suejonez · 14/02/2007 19:39

Update is planned for the weekend - will post when I have done it.

moondog · 14/02/2007 19:40

Great blog
(Am having a nose)

Brings back good memories of CIS.

My dh off to Tajikistan for a year next week so will deffo visit.

How is your little bloke then Sue?
How are you finding this mothering lark now back home?

suejonez · 14/02/2007 19:42

He is generally lovely mixed in with bouts of being completely insufferable - so normal I guess .

No-one told me (the most patient person in the world) that your children have the capability to suck every ounce of patience out of you until you are going to murder them then do something wonderful that makes it all worthwhile.

moondog · 14/02/2007 19:44

Oh yesssssssssss!!!!!

Gobbledigook · 14/02/2007 19:44

Wow that is fascinating! Who is the photographer - the shots are amazing!!

She is a 'not-mini' Jan! You are right!

JanH · 14/02/2007 19:49

The other 2 are "a film-maker and assistant from Centre Screen Productions in Manchester, England", GDG, so I guess they are responsible for the photos. (Loved the pic of the wieners in the pea soup )

My niece is much more like me than any of my kids, it's very strange.

grandads · 14/02/2007 20:06

it is a fascinating blog

Gobbledigook · 14/02/2007 20:41

Yes, the wieners pic make me snigger. I'm a saddo.

sunchowder · 14/02/2007 21:06

Fantastic Jan, you must be so very proud!

JanH · 14/02/2007 21:42

Facsinating blog JanH - I used to live in Saigon so will be very interested in that bit!

DH was offered a job in Kaz lat year. I said no. And no. And no again. I nearly had it tatooed on my forehead!

suejonez - have been wondering how you are. Daniel sounds completly normal by the sounds of things! How is he reacting to all the new stuff? Do a link to your blog when you do it please! I read some of the blog while you were in Kaz - it was fascinating. And Daniel looks gorgeous.
