SW 2nd opinion ~ What actually happens?

Our sw has finished assessing us and has written up the reports, we are due to see another social worker for a 2nd opinion this week, and just wandered what it actually covers.

Our original SW did a safety inspection, but since then with the winds some of our fences have blown down. We have bought new ones, but not been able to do them yet.

Just wandered if it was paperwork only, or if she covers pretty much everything that the original sw covered.

sorry April I don't know, but I doubt they'd redo the H&S check. Even if they did they should just say that you have to have the fence repaired prior to any placement.

Hi, Thanks she came out and stayed for about 30 mins, just really going over a few questions and talking a lot of trivial things really.

Now just have to wait to hear about a date.

can't beleive you're still waiting for a date - its torture isn't it? If its any consolation, when you are matched and you look back you wonder what you made all the fuss about! This its just like labour - you forget all the bad bits...

I hope so Sue, least I am distracted by DS and the normal day to day grind.
