Referees needed for adoption

Hello all!

Me and my partner are hoping to adopt and we need to provide 3 referees. We have been together four years and have separate friends so we don't really have anyone who can referee the both of us apart from the relatives that we are allowed to put down.

Help!

We had a range of referees,
Some knew one of us better than the other but all knew us both to some extent. There appeared to be no issue with this. Good Luck!

We used my mum, my best friend, her mum and DH cousin. The only one that really knew both of us as a couple well was my mum. They got a written reference and an face to face interview later. In addition to that sw interviewed parents, siblings and children. They'll give you guidance if your struggling. Good luck Flowers

3 in total or each? We had to get 3 each so did mums, and then friends. Only really mums knew us as a couple.

We had to give four, so each used best friends and uncles. Our best friends have got to know the other half since we've been a couple so we thought that was okay and we've spent a lot of time with each other's families so I guess we were lucky. Our SW said that if they then needed further info from someone else they'd let us know so I wouldn't worry too much if they ask you for someone else as well.
Reading this now I'm wondering why it never occurred to us to use our parents!!!
