samesex surragacy

it is a stab in the dark but i am enquiring for a friend. he is in a same sex relationship and they desperatly want a child of their own. do any of you know of an organisation that offer surragcy to gay couples?

gosh that sounds dicriminatory...why dont they offer their sperm to a gay female couple in exchange for a womb for nine months?

yes. im not sure if they have thought of that already. i think they would prefer to go thru an organisation where ppl have been vetted and not a friend. it does seem rather harsh that gay couples cant join these groups

i might (at some point in the next few years) be lending my womb to a gay couple. would it have to go through a surrogacy org?

Sorry this post is so long after your original question. Friends of ours (a gay couple in NY) used an American surrogacy agency called Surrogate Alternatives. They also help non-US couples - the website is surrogateaternatives.com. We thought about it before going via the adoption route.
