Being a referee

Hope no-one minds me posting but have been asked by some friends to be a referee for them as they are hoping to adopt. Happy to do so but just wondered if anyone can give me an idea of what they might ask?

Hi. My referees received a questionnaire mainly covering things such as how long they knew me, did they trust me with kids, how did I behave around kids, any reasons they didn't think I would be suitable, how do I handle stress etc etc. this was then followed up with a visit from the social worker for a very informal chat about the answers they had given in the questionnaire. All my refs were so nervous but said that it really did just feel like a chat and not an interrogation Grin

There's loads of threads about this. Try an AS looking for reference or referee.
