My DD1 got her GCSE results yesterday.
DD1 was placed with us shortly before her 8th birthday. She was around 18months-2 years behind in maths. At the end of year 6 she got her L4 for maths but was a L3 for her writing.
She has worked so hard since being placed with us, but Dec y11 we finally got a dyspraxia diagnosis for her which explains so much of why her hard work often didn't transform to results.
She passed all her GCSEs, with a B in maths and 4 others too. Off to 6th form now to do a BTEC, as the continual assessment will suit her much better, and I'm hoping she will do it with much less support necessary from home.

(Now all I need to do is to get ADD2 to accept help from me too ...)
