I'm busy getting our family book ready for our sw to pick up on Monday. But not sure what names to use, do we use mummy and daddy or our real names? It is for an 19 month old? Thanks

We used Mummy and Daddy - our children were a year or so older Smile

Definitely mummy and daddy because that's who you are.

Definitely mummy and Daddy. We have children who are 7 and 4 who are struggling to call us mummy and daddy 6 months in. My opinion is, they need as much help as they can get.

Nb: our book said mummy and daddy but fc struggled to say it and chn got used to hearing our Christians names rather than mummy and daddy.

Try "Mummy Jane" and "Daddy John" for a while then drop the first names.

Mummy and Daddy.

I said something like "My name is Italian Greyhound, and I am your new Mummy." And DH said "And I am Slim-Hipped Whippet, and I am your new Daddy."

Good luck.
