Our beautiful daughters have been with us for just over 2 years - placed with us as siblings. I have been trying to get some kind of support for our eldest since November and got nowhere!
When the Adoption Support Fun was released I thought this might make it easier but we seem no further forward. I got in touch with SW in March to start an assessment, she visited in May and is yet to send in any kind of application.
I'm getting increasingly frustrated - during the prep course we were told all these stories of what support there would be, people to talk to at the end of the phone etc but we haven't heard from anyone since placement unless I get in touch to chase.
Is this normal?
