child's sw and stress

I know I'm probably being really impatient, but how long after the initial meeting with child's sw did you all hear if match yes going ahead please. The stress of waiting and not knowing is really getting to me, I feel like they have dangled a carrot just out of my reach!!!

We were told about the child, a few weeks later we had a meeting and within a few days it had been confirmed it was a match.

Its only been 4 days (working) since the meeting. No update from our sw yet. I got the impression that our sw wasn't overly impressed with the other sw as she didn't seem sure of all the facts and forgot to bring us a photo! I don't like to keep pestering our sw all the time either. :(

Try not to worry. It's not about whether the social workers get on, so hope for the best.
