Exchange Day - West Ham FC

Been to the Exchange Day today and have registered interest in 3 children. Many less children available in compassion to last year with many LA's just having stalls with adopter profiles on them. Not so many adopters present as last year as well.

I wonder where this is going with so many children being fostered and not adopted and when things will turn around. Trying to be positive but finding it all so frustrating tbh.

We went to the Feb event at West Ham, and registered interest in 3 children but never heard anything. We were invited to come back to this one, but didn't, as it didn't seem likely to be successful for us. From what you've said OP I'm glad we decided this now. It seems positive that at last the press have got hold of the story, though yet again I saw 'languishing in inappropriate homes' do they mean FC? Rude!

Figures for adoption should come out at the beginning of June (delayed because of election) hopefully these will be highlighted in press and get some talking going. Must change soon.

Recent court cases have scared me quite a lot, I look forward wistfully to the day when everything is signed and sealed and the authorities never ever come back.
But first we need a match....
