We have recently started stage one of adoption and have been advised to work through some reading material.
We already have a child of our own and are looking for some books that are relevant for him having a possible brother or sister coming into the family. All I can find at the moment are books for the actual adopted children to help their understanding but nothing for a child already within the family unit.
Any help is appreciated.

There is a good book published by BAAF called What do we think about adoption. You can get it on Amazon.
Before we adopted I gave a copy to our neices and nephews and I've also given copies to school teachers.
It's a good book which explains what adoption is in nice simple terms.
