Can hardly believe it. Feels like 2 minutes ago I was scrubbing the house and agonising over what biscuits to get our social worker and here we are just having said goodbye to her for the last time. It's all done and we can now just move forward as a family. Feeling blessed and happy today.

Just wanted to say good luck to those just starting their journey and to everyone no matter what stage you are at. Hang in there as it is so worth it in the end x

Congratulations! Can I be cheeky and ask how long from start to finish. We are just waiting for a link really. Will be a year ago in 3 weeks that we rang to enquire.

18 months from first phone call to placement. we had a long wait for prep course though. From start of home study to meeting ds was 7 months. We were matched 5 weeks after approval panel so very lucky.

That's lovely. Saying goodbye to Social Work is a wonderful feeling, though can also feel a bit like taking the stabilisers off.
