abbreviations?

Sorry I'm quite new to this page, what do all the abbreviations stand for please? DD, DS, DH etc. thanks

There are a couple of other adoption related acronyms we use on this board that aren't on that list, or mean something different than on there:

BC = Birth child
AD/AS = adopted daughter/adopted son
BM = Birth Mother/Mum
BD = Birth Dad
BF = Birth father or birth family
SW = Social Worker
MP = Matching Panel
LB = Letterbox (contact)
CPR = child permanence report
LA = local authority
VA = voluntary agency
PAS = post adoption support

Other two I have used

PAD - post adoption depression
EP - educational psychologist (though obviously not adoption specific)

Oh and.. JH/IJ = spawn of the devil...

Maybe Lilka would like to explain that one!
