PP is for pupils who receive free school meals to help them achieve better educational achievement's., is used for whole school advantage., is around
£900 per pupil per year.
PP Plus is £1900 per pupil per year for children in care and leaving care as Adopted children, Special Guardianship's. and for Children Who's family's have residency orders (Kinship carer's).
For children in care is used by LA's virtual head in conjunction with PEPlans, accessing support services. OT's., CHAMHS etc. also too provide , equipment, support school trips. Tuition. out of school activity's and too use for special training teachers in attachment's, trauma, etc.. These are all available whilst child is in care.

It was decided too transfer these funds too make them available too all children leaving care and for the same use. But if a child did not need additional help, funds may be used too the betterment of other children including the child.

It is supposed too recognise that children who leave care will still need help and on-going support , for the significant future , may develop secondary, problems . Such as Trauma, Attachment's, Separations and loss
afraid the list go's on. May be talented, though Autistic, Even Talented.,
Intellectual, will still need support. It is too help them to achieve a good
educational attainment.
Too recognise that when our children leave care their problems do not MAJIC away like FAIRY DUST.

Hope I got it down for you OK Italian

Must say Edward Timpson Children's Minister has two Adopted brothers so he knows where we are coming from hopefully.

That is helpful. I guess it is year on year so if he does not need any extra help this year then he will not get to decide on how that money is spent. But when I talked to the teacher I called it PP not PPP and so maybe there was some confusion.

Our DD in senior school has trauma and flashbacks can be withdrawn, very quite and reserved at times, other time's., bubbly, forward is like a camelian. School are great all understand second nature for the staff now,
help with equipment, tuition and trips. Life is so easier for her now, no doubt lots of cash leftover but who care's what happens too the rest, may not be needed next year, so will go too whole school. DS SEN School is a nightmare in comparison., fed up with them not going there. May move him too mainstream school soonest.

THINK TO GET Timpson's latest update may have too register on Blog
