Our adoption order got passed today. Ds is finally all ours, just had to share as I am so happy. Thanks to all of you who have kept me company along the way (was broodymomma before name change)

The best feeling ever. Nothing has really changed but we feel different, like going from being engaged to married in a way. So happy tonight, just lay on his bed and cuddled him off to sleep. Lucky lucky lady I am.

He has a good understanding of the fact he needed a new family and that's us, but I'm unsure just how much he actually understands about how it came to be and what adoption actually means re his past life. He is a happy boy tonight though!

Thank you!!! We have had a lovely day today. It sounds silly but I can feel that last 10% of my heart I had held back from him just incase things fell through has gone. I can hand on heart say I love this little boy and he is all ours. I remember the first 12 weeks thinking we had made such a mistake and I was a failure. What a difference a year makes.

What a brilliant lovely day for you all, many congratulations. I have the announcement in the paper from the day my parents had the same for me, they treated it like a birth announcement which it was I suppose. I wish you all many many happy years as a family .
