Step-parent Adoption

My partner and I have started the process of him adopting my son who is 11, which he has brought up as his own for the past 10yrs We are in the middle of going through the assessment process. I am starting to get a bit overwhelmed by all the questions, any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Sam. I'm not sure how the process for a step parent adoption differs from other types of adoption but I certainly recognise the feeling of being overwhelmed by all the questions!
Are there any areas of questioning that is causing you concern - there may be adopters here able to support or clarify for you.
