Are you saying that you adopted a child, and then your marriage broke down?

I have knowm a couple that has happened to. Although I think the responsibility of having another child was the main problem, not that it was an adopted child.

ah, did i word it badly, we adopted as a married couple , and have since divorced. as i was told a lot of adoptions break down, i am wondering how unusual y experince is

mufti, so sorry to hear that. No experience of that exactly, but there is no doubt children put a huge strain on couples - regardless of how much wanted they are.
