Stage 2

Hi. I know others have posted re stage two. But just wanted to ask something. My sw rang today to tell us the good news (eek of going through to stage 2) but with provisions. They are still waiting on two of my previous employer checks. She said if they come back ok then no problems but if there is cause for concern they would reevaluate it? What problems so to speak could she mean? I'm excited and have been waiting for what seems like ever for her call, but at the same time I can't help but feel like I should be worried? I know (well I think I know) there isn't anything. Maybe I'm just overthinking? X

Sounds to me like they are just covering their backs. They are supposed to wait for those before passing you into stage 2, so they are probably just making it crystal clear that they can't guarantee it until they have them. So unless you know that there will be an issue with one of your references I wouldn't worry in the slightest! We were told they often get delayed by employee references and put you through to stage 2 on the provision they can stop that if there is an issue so it doesn't hold you up :)

Ah ok. Phew. Totally excited then as I know of no reason to not go ahead yay for us finally. X
