That poor woman, irresponsible TV show.

Pressed send too quickly. It's great that people can access the information but clearly there were serious things in that file that she had to read in front of a camera

It was interesting, it's very right that the info is available and actually just after I posted they talked about the fact that people receiving their files were given counselling as part to it, it was just the woman's reaction as she read some of it and I posted in haste I think. The way it was filmed just made it seem like she was extremely shocked and the presenter was a bit casual or didn't really know what to do. Makes good TV I guess.

The presenter used to be (still is?) the sports reporter/correspondent on BBC North West News. Bit different to being with someone receiving their file from SS!

What they didn't mention is the cost. The County Council I work in charges 10. I don't think it's right to charge, personally.

A Duty Worker sits with them while they receive the file. Again, I'm not sure if that really works. Ah well. Not my decision to make, unfortunately!
