One step closer....

Finished our home visits today and feels more significant than we thought it would. Still a long way to go but feel we've taken another step closer to one day bringing a little one home. Now to patiently wait for panel day....

I promised I wouldn't get excited too early but I can feel some excitement bubbling a bit!!

Wouldn't it be great to be able to fast forward and see what the future will bring and when?!

I remember that day well! It's a good feeling. It also means that for a little while, you can go back to your 'normal' life, without having to keep the house shiny clean and a regular supply of biscuits available... ;)

I suppose you haven't got the PAR yet - are you expecting to have to wait long for it?

I know what you mean about the cleaning! Our house has never been so clean and shiny!

PAR being prepared now for us to check in a couple of weeks or so. Going to be weird reading about ourselves life that. it's like waiting for your school report at end of term!!

What is a PAR? Is that the equivalent of form f?

It's Prospective Adopters Report (I think), and yes I believe it's Form F.

I know exactly what you mean, our SW didn't look around the house until quite late in proceedings so we were spick and span for months 'just in case'.
We're at panel next week so in a similar situation to you - trying really hard to keep a lid on the excitement, but failing completely. Best of luck!
