Today is the day !

I just have to put this out there somewhere as I am so excited and its such a big day.

Today is the day when my sister and my SIL meet their much longed for little boy for the very first time.

That's so lovely - they are very lucky to have you as their sister with all that love and support maccie! Wishing them lots of best wishes as they meet their new son and for you as you will soon start to get to know your new nephew. Big day and exciting times for all of you!!

I have been a lurker on this board for a long time whilst they have been going through the adoption process and have learned so much from everyone's experiences and probably have stopped myself from making some faux paus along the way and will hopefully have a little bit more insight into why things need to be handled in the way that they do. So I will be forever grateful that I found the adoption board and all of you lovely ladies over here??

And it's happening right now. The start of a brand new little family being formed. I can't stop smiling.

Congratulations! Your sister and her new family will need lots of support over the next few weeks and its wonderful that she has family to help her emotionally at this time.

Thank you very much. I have heard from them and it went really well. Was just a short visit today followed by a meeting with the FC and SW once my nephew went down for his nap. He is an adorable, chunky munchkin apparently.

I can't wait for the day he wants a cuddle from his auntie

Thanks for coming back, have been thinking about them, and you, all day! I haven't adopted yet but we are linked and have just this afternoon seen our provisional intros plan - it's pretty full on, and made me think again how very lucky to have such total support from you. So glad it went well auntie maccie, happy times ahead!

Thank you everyone. Devora once we are invited to visit I will be taking my close in age youngest with me and lots of crayons and colouring books too. Plus my youngest wont go anywhere further than 10 mins in the car without taking her lunch bag with drinks and chopped up yummy fruits so I think between us and our goodies we might win him over
