How long does it take (Adoption Order)?

Okay. So my youngest brother's parents have filed the paperwork for the adoption order. How long is it expected to take? He has lived with them from ten months, removed at birth. TIA

From sending in the forms, for me it was a few months till court. Different for each child, but for all of them it was more than 3 months, less than 6 months. It depends on the court though, some are a bit busier than others.

Ours took 4 months and that included Christmas..... agree tho that it varies between courts.

Depends on courts. I'm a birth mum. Three months roughly from applying (the paperwork was sent in march) and the adoption order was granted with my blessing on Monday.
