Brilliant books! We've had them for ages now. DS just came & sat on my knee & said can you read the I love you book mummy. So he brought that & the feelings book.

I read them and at the end he said I love my mummy & daddy

They are so, so helpful for kids like ours. I sent them into school after dd2 was struggling with her feelings of difference, and it really helped. I don't understand why all early years settings don't always have them.

Just to add: there are books that feature mixed race children, adopted children, children with gay parents, children with disabilities etc. Todd Parr is the only one where you get it all in one package
