Just came across this and I thought it was lovely so I'd share it

It's art work by an 18 year old adoptee who was adopted from Russia when she was 1, exploring her adoption experience and some of her feelings about it

On the right of the artwork is an article by her adoptive mum written for the same newspaper in 1998

I thought it was beautiful (she's a talented young woman!) and moving. Brave too, to put it out there in a newspaper!

Lovely. I am adopted although from different circumstances. The picture of her wrapped in the railway and of her reaching for a leaf on the red tree are amazing.
