Adoption experience Greater Manchester area

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with adoption/Local Authorities in the Greater Manchester area? Myself and my partner have decided to adopt but are unsure which L.A to go with and where we would find out which are better/worse.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. We live in Manchester, so would be inclined not to go with Manchester, plus haven't heard good things.

Would not be disillusioned by area, as you mentioned large city's would have greater need of adoptive parents, also would have coalitions with adjoining borough's LA's., also children from city's are often matched from way out of area.

Can't recommend this agency enough... after adoption
