Our boy is 14!

I just wanted to share... Today at 7.30pm-ish will be the 14th anniversary of my beautiful, funny, athletic, clever, loving boy's arrival in my life. He was 7 hours old, we were his emergency foster carers.

This child was not my first foster child, nor my first birth child.

I love him so completely, we all do.

Thank you on his, and our (DH, DS1& DD's) behalf. We adopted him when he was 16 months old, but he was in my heart from the moment I held him.

Yesterday he had 20 school friends round for a buffet lunch type thing, then they all went swimming; twelve boys, eight girls who all got along famously.

Tomorrow we're going for a family bike ride and picnic and I shall cherish every second .
