Hi everyone. Hope it's okay for me to join. I haven't got any children yet and would like to adopt but currently need to slim down before they'll consider me.

Anyone been in a similar position? Did your bmi have to be 'normal' before they'd consider you?

Hi, we are in the assessment process and both have really high bmi, mines is above 40. We've been advised to lose weight but not even given a target, we just need to show we can do it
