I'm aware looked after and formally looked after children get priority school admissions but are they still eligible for the fine if taking holiday during term time?

Yes. Unless a court hearing or something similarly adoption related, fell during term time.

Presumably. Though I wonder if it's the council that should get fined, as they are technically parents?
