We were hoping to move on to stage two in the new year, however I'm doubt that will happen now as we will technically be homeless in two weeks. We were due to move into a new home, a perfect family home. However solicitor bullshit has delayed things, we can't stay where we are because new tenants are moving in. Luckily my dad has agreed to put us up for a short time (not ideal but at least it's a roof over our heads). I'm worried the all this will cause the sw to question our stability, in the prep course they really emphasised how important stability is to an adopted child (understandably). It also means we can't complete stage one yet as the one document we needed was a home insurance certificate, can't have home insurance without a home. Maybe I'm stressing unnecessarily, we've lived together for 5 years and this is the first time we've been in this position. Just need some perspective please!

That's so sad at this time of year! My parents fostered for 20 years so I no how exact things need to be. I pray you find a perfect home quickly
I'd try and use it to your advantage with them saying your last house wasn't good enough and you both want a larger home for a family and you don't want to move after you have adopted as this would cause upset to a child. Don't show them you are worried and make out it was all planned. Show them
The houses you are looking at.turn all negatives into positives. Good luck my love happy new year x
