My DW and I aren't sharing this with anyone in real life yet, but if I don't tell someone I'm going to explode.

We've been selected to be the proud mummies of an adorable 15 month old little girl!

Of course, we still have to get through the actual linking and matching, but, for today, I don't think I could be any happier.

Update Today we saw a picture of our beautiful soon to be DD. I have to report that she is the most adorable child you've ever seen. I appear to have turned into a total slushbucket. Presumably normal service will resume at some point.

I regret to have to inform you that no little girls on the entire planet are as adorable or beautiful as my granddaughters are. But I'm sure your daughter (at last!) is the third most adorable and beautiful girl in thw world

going into Mothercare legitimately and not feeling slightly creep like you have to explain everything to the sales assistants about why you're not there with a child... its just the best feeling.

Next best is actually goign in there with a child.

CAVEAT - that feeling does wear off when shoe shoppinng turns into some kind of extreme sport.

Winter coat shopping has shoe shopping beaten hands down...in this house any way (what is it with 10yo boys and coat resistance? Is it an age related allergy?).
