We love the Todd Parr books. They are really colourful with childlike drawing in them.

I adapt them to incorporate our lives etc into them. My two, (4&2) love them. Grin

There's one called 'oh brother' by Claire Friday, it's about a birth son who gets a younger adopted brother, don't know if that would be any good? I think it's aimed at ages 7-12.
