We've got our first home visit by our social worker tomorrow to start our home study.

Finished our prep course last week so it feels like we're going at a rate if knots now Grin

I've spent all day cleaning the house to within an inch if its life today. I'm knackered now Wink

Biscuits are in and the posh tea bags have been bought.

Feeling very real now Grin

Good luck with everything tomorrow! I remember it well :-)

Good luck :)

Best of luck to you. The Home study can be a tough few months, but remember that the SW is not there to trip you up. My wife talks for Britain, so our meetings dragged on, but they will be over before you know, so I wih you all the best.

All the best, we are about a quarter of the way into ours and it feels fine.

Moomoomie · 15/04/2013 11:32

All the best, just be yourself and you will be fine.
Don't forget the biscuits, although SW won't eat them Grin

Thanks so much fir the replies, it went really well and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. In fact I'm starting to let myself feel excited now.

We've booked in 5 more appointments which are once a week.

After spending all Sunday cleaning she didn't look around at all. She didn't even go into my, now sparkling, bathroom Grin and turned down the biscuits!
