Had my home visit on tuesday

She said it went well didnt have any concerns and but she would have to put it to the team

What i want to know how long will i wait to find out if i got on to the next stage she said she would ring but i am clibing the walls

I know exactly how this feels. I was on the edge of my seat at this point, checking my mobile every five minutes and I also recall the huge relief when that call comes to say what's next. The rollercoaster analogy is perfect here. There's slow climbs which seem to last forever, lost of turns and twirls you weren't quite expecting and then a huge rush downwards which is all consuming.

I do wonder how much I learned to be more patient through this stage, but also stand up for myself and question. I wonder if at all! I am from the Abe Lincoln school of thought... 'Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle.' However my husband is more the patient and level headed kind. We agreed to consider what is 'reasonable' and 'try' to wait for this period to elapse before worrying too much and chasing our SW. Sometimes we even asked, 'when is it likely you'll be back to us on that?'. Which helped manage our (my!) expectations. We never wanted to annoy or equally appear apathetic.

I am rambling. I should have just said - I know, its really tough. The time will also come when it feels like you are going 300mph. But I also need to add (as gently as I can), this is process will happen at its own pace and its how it could be for the foreseeable few months and so please find a way to work with this as it will drive you up the wall. I am one to talk as I have many foorprints up our walls still now!

The team meetings are usually weekly, I think, but that might not be true everywhere. If her line manager is on holiday, or off sick, she will have to wait till they get back.
