We have a courtdate!!

Just that really, we have a court date to make them legally ours. So excited :)

I filled in a form the other day and realised I could "legally" put their new surname as the event would be after the courtdate!!

I love their little souls and can't wait to share the rest of thier lives!!

I know v little about adoption, apart from what i know of two acquaintances going through the process. Even from that distance it was obvious how much the children meant to the adoptive parents. Good luck, I hope it all pans out well for you.

I thought final court hearing would be formality and it wouldn't make any real difference. But it did, subtley but it did.

Thanks guys, sometimes I still can't belive they will be ours! It was a long road (not really the adoption part, that was quite quick but the whole TTC, IVF, etc etc) but I am so glad we chose this route.

They are my everything even if they do keep me up all night :)

Congratulations!! We have just submitted our forms, and waiting for a date. Whilst it feels like she is ours anyway, I cannot wait for it to be legal! And another celebration for our family.
