I've asked a few questions on here over the course of our assessment and been avidly reading lots of your stories and wanted to say a big thankyou for sharing your thoughts on the journey!

Last Thursday we were approved to adopt and are both over the moon! It's such an amazing feeling after the process.

For anyone waiting for panel it is totally worth it when you get the positive answer!

Congratulations, another step on the way to your child. Fantastic news.

Congratulations! I still remember that wonderful feeling on being told we had been approved as adopters. V emotional - even our very hard nosed SW had a little cry!

I hope they match you with a child soon! We were told it could take up to 18 months but got the magic phone call three weeks later.

Congratulations!! It is a wonderful feeling. Hopefully not long until you get the call! It took just over 4 months for us. We found this period the hardest - everyone asking us when our child was coming! But just remember that he or she will be with you soon x

Hi..a few days to go until we get to meet our 9 month old daughter. Amazed and anxious all at the same time. This is our first child and we dont have much experience or family to ask for advice. Wearefreeking our at the mo. Any books you would recrecommend or words of wisdom?
