I don't know why this pleases me so much, but we worked out this morning that DD has now been with us for a third of her life (how time flies!)

And last night, as I was putting DD to sleep I said "Goodnight, love you" as usual, and DD said "Love you" back

That's all!

Thanks Bran! The first time we all had a stinking cold, DS declared that the four of us were a real family now, " because families share germs"!

I remember the thrill I had when I realised dd had lived with us longer than with her foster carer.
