Don't think Sinitta should be leaving her children to go into the jungle do you

A parent is a parent however they had their child, do you seriously think no one who is a parent has ever been in the jungle Biscuit

crazynanna · 16/11/2011 21:41

I took it that she's working.

GenerationGap · 16/11/2011 21:48

I do not think any single parent should leave young children for what could be up to three weeks.

Lilka · 16/11/2011 21:50

You should see what they say about her on AUK!!

I wish she wouldn't parade them around on TV and in the newspapers..no thought for their privacy. And leaving traumatised children without their mum for weeks isn't usually a good idea. We'll see what the children say when they are older I suppose

tomme · 16/11/2011 21:50

That's a different point generation, it seems deliberately inflammatory that you started this in adoptions.

BertieBotts · 16/11/2011 21:51

Confused Why on earth not? Any single parent? Ever? Even if the children have a good relationship with whoever they are staying with?

McPhee · 16/11/2011 21:51

Ofgs....leave the women alone.

Seriously?? Have you really nothing better to moan about??

GenerationGap · 16/11/2011 21:52

I know she is working but this is not her only means of earning a living. She is selfish and self serving! I don't know how she can bare it

OP posts:
Lilka · 16/11/2011 21:52

It's not though tomme...being a mum to adoptive children IS very different to having a birth child. It's not something I would ever do with mine

uniCorny · 16/11/2011 21:53

is she the only parent there then?

inceywinceyspiderfinder · 16/11/2011 21:54

FFS.

I can't stand Sinitta but she's a single parent and needs to provide for her children.

What other ways of making money do you suggest? She's probably hoping it will breathe some life into her fairly non existent TV career and provide opportunities to support her family in the future.

GenerationGap · 16/11/2011 21:55

Corny- as far as I know she is the only parent of young children yes

OP posts:
NickyNackyNooNoo · 16/11/2011 21:57

Hmm maybe they are with their father.....

GenerationGap · 16/11/2011 21:57

My children would be devastated if I left them for three weeks, children don't care about money! She could always downsize if she's that hard up!

OP posts:
GenerationGap · 16/11/2011 21:59

Nicky - their father also left them to live overseas shortly after their adoption!

uniCorny · 16/11/2011 22:00

Doesn't Ant (or is it Dec) have a young child? I thought he did. I'll bet members of the filming crew are leaving young children.

Aeschylus · 16/11/2011 22:02

I couldn't leave my ds for that long, he has only stayed out overnight once!!! Come to think of it, I couldn't leave my dh for that long either! However, I am sure she made a decision as their mother who knows them best and I'm not sure it's right to judge her for that.

newmum001 · 16/11/2011 22:03

Her children are probably in a nearby hotel with a family member having a lovely holiday! She's earning money and let's face it she's not going to last 3 weeks in there!

Her children will miss her desperately it's so sad

Kewcumber · 17/11/2011 16:38

impossible to judge really wihtou knowing who is looking after them and how long for and how much money she's been offered for it.

If I have the opportunity to earn enough money for the next year in three weeks I think I'd leave DS with my mum. Though we would both struggle with 3 weeks I think.

SallyDon · 21/11/2011 13:08

Wish I could go into the jungle for three weeks. I can't even go out into the garden on my own without it causing a big scene.

Sally (mother of adopted children)

chipmonkey · 21/11/2011 13:38

You could always just let your garden get really overgrown, Sally!

chipmonkey · 21/11/2011 13:41

Doubt she'll be there for the full three weeks. I'm sure her children are well-loved and well cared for in her absence.

Corcory · 23/11/2011 22:15

Did you see her on This morning with her obviously traumatised children during Adoption Week.
Lots was said in the press and on the net about her being a bad mother and calling her children spoilt brats. A lot was made of the fact that she had a nanny to look after them most of the time, and that she had been on Wife Swap. On that programme it looked as if she rearly saw her children, leaving most of the care to the nanny. These are obviously children with attachment problems possible ADHD and developmental delay. They need security, routine, and consistancy, in order that they can form proper bonds with their adoptive parent with theraputic parenting to help them grow into stable balanced individuals. Not feeling that they are again abandoned.
