Hello all,

I have name changed for this as I am extremely sensitive about identity etc. I am a regular poster on all of Mumsnet but under a different name and will use this name just on this topic from now on.

I have lurked on the adoption threads for months now as I am an adoptive mother to a gorgeous DS who is 3 and am in the process of adopting a DD who is almost 1. We will go to panel in two weeks to confirm the match.

Anyway, I really just wanted to say Hi and decided to start posting on this topic as you have all given me so much support, that you could never possibly know about as I don't post, so I thought it was about time I gave something back.

Hello and welcome - it always embarrassing how good other people are at protecting their identities wen I am so blatently rubbish at it. Mind you birth family/authorities a thousand miles away so I guess I don;t worry too much form that perspective!
