HELP - Foster carer gift ideas????

I would dearly love to get DS's carer a gift but what?

What do you get someone who has given so much to your little one?

Some pampering stuff.

A nice photo frame or small album.

A nice vase and flowers.

One of the nicest gifts we have been given is a lovely photo frame that came with a card saying "photo to follow" and they did indeed send photo's, lots of them.

The best gift you can give them is to keep in touch. It means so much to foster parents that they are not just forgotten about.

When we took delivery of our two we had the same dilemma! What to get amazing foster carers?

We decided on a tree for their beautiful garden - we wrote them a message to go with the tree that basically said that they could look at the tree each day and be reminded, as it grows strong and healthy through their love and care, that our boys are also growing strong and healthy as a result of the foundations they provided.

I agree with the other posters that carers also love beautiful frames and photos - and keeping in touch with updates (gotta love Facebook for making that so much easier).

Lovely idea oinker. I second earthmother, the best gift for me is when the adoptive parents keep in touch. If you don't feel you can do that a photo in a frame would be lovely. I also love the tree idea that is so thoughtful.

We sent up Wish candles tonight for our DS.
I gave one to the Foster Carer too. They were sent up at the same time.......
