Warm homes energy discount - for my partner not me?

My partner and I receive Universal credit. We are joint claimants. Our home is in my name, as are all the bills.

He’s just received a letter to see he will receive the warm homes energy discount, to be paid directly to his energy supplier:

The issue is, he doesn’t have an energy supplier. It’s all in my name. Does anyone know what will happen here?

Add him to the bill or move it to his name?

Otherwise I would call Citizens Advice to get a proper answer. I would assume if he is not responsible for any bills in the sense that his name is not on any then there would be nothing to discount off of and therefore nothing will happen unless you can resolve it.

Is there a helpline number on the letter? On the .gov website it says you are eligible if the bill is in your partners name but if you have any questions to ring the helpline number which should be on the eligibility letter.
