DD, in year 9, does Taekwondo twice a week, cadets, learns piano outside of school and plays in the school concert band. She has nothing Fri/Sat/Sun, but has two things on a Tuesday. And then piano practice of 40 mins 4 times a week.
When she goes to the next grade with Taekwondo she’ll have to train three times a week. She has said if it starts to get too much she’ll drop it, but she does enjoy it and it’s the only physical exercise she’ll willingly take part in! She will be doing music GCSE so won’t drop piano, and has actually talked about taking up a second instrument.
Is this all going to be too much if it goes on into year 10?
