I kinda like Jennifer Ellison.

Is it just me? I know people dismiss her as chavvy or whatever, but I'm going on perceived personality rather than, say, wanting to emulate her bikini choices ... Not that I actually really know what sort of person she is, obviously, but she seems kind of down-to-earth and genuinely v v excited about being a mother, in quite a sound way.

I've never seen her in an acting role that I recall. I just keep reading snippets in the trashy magazines now and again, since she got pregnant. Saw one this morning while getting my hair cut.

She was on one of the early series of hells kitchen, and won. It's the only thing I've ever seen her on (not v good at the sleb stuff and never watched was it brookside?) anyway, she was really hardworking and bright and cheerful and she won. Always had a big smile even when sweating buckets in the kitchen, and took all the info in and executed it well. She's obviously a talented person generally.

she was in phantom of the opera, the film version. and i think she played roxy hart for a while in chicago on the west end.

just the usual of commenting on a pregnant women who has 'shock horror' put on weight.

the comments are very nasty. not worth reading avoid.

DM comments are horrid I didn't read them all but the articles aren't great either, all snippy about her outfits and weight on her face how unusual for a woman who is nine months pregnant

Think this was a quote I read that made me think, good on you:

"Jennifer, 26, has arranged to have a water birth and is planning for it to be completely natural.

She said: "I want a water birth, I want it to be as natural as possible but, saying that, I may have drugs if I need them - you never know."

Not that this is a massive breakthrough for womankind; but I thought it was nice that she's aiming for all-natural, but not in a smugtastic sleb way. Quite normal in other words. I'm sure she said something very positive about BF as well. Sadly this seems to be quite rare in young sleb circles so I was really glad to read it.

DP used to get his car valetted by her fiance- he told me he had packed the job in to get engaged to "Jennifer Aniston", and wondered why I was whooping at having the sleb scoop of the decade

A boy called Bobby, after the dad who is Rob. 9lbs in weight, which explains her weight gain, strangely enough.

Hope she got the birth she wanted.

Aghast at the continual stream of weight-related comments on the DM site, eg "now she'd better hurry up and lose that weight, not be lazy like some mothers" Feck off!

Must stop visiting the DM for sleb twaddle, 'tis only supporting the nastiness.

She lives near me. I've seen her shopping in the local Asda. And I sometimes see her walking her dog. That was a while ago now though. Before the pregnancy probably.

A friend of my Sister's was in a local gym steam room, and she come walking in wearing a bikini/swim suit. He nearly died!

Just saw her & her DH in OK (which I never normally read but actually bought this time ).

92-hour labour (!) followed by emergency CS. Sounds like she's really enjoying the baby though and says she is very happy to be BFing

Cute wee baby, too. Making me all excited about meeting mine.

I kind of like her as well. I had dismissed her as lads mag fodder but I think there's more to her than that.

I was a bit disapointed that she sold her baby pics after she got married in private. But, it pays for her ML I suppose.

(well, as disappointed as I can be about someone I don't know)

I've seen her in Asda as well ().

I hate to break it but I used to do some work with JE and of the fair sized number of slebs I dealt with she was by far the rudest, sulkiest, most arrogant and dimmest

However, this was around 10 years ago so maybe she has changed

i just saw a picture of her in the DM and it says that she's appearing in calender girls 4 weeks after the birth of her baby! NAKED!

just find that amazing - not about her losing her pregnancy weight so quickly since i lost all my pregnancy weight that quickly after my 3 DC but my body was in no way in shape to be showing it to the world! i was still wearing a sanitary towel 4 weeks post birth and my breasts were like melons!

and i'm not posting this to start a discussion about her going back to work quickly - she says she's taking the baby with her!
