Sparkles - P/T meeting went well really. Teacher was lovely and very ernest, kept grabbing dh's hand and sort of squeezing it to emphasize certain points.
Dh kept nodding frantically and saying, 'Oh God, yes I do understand completely Mrs.kennedy'
I kept staring at dh, desparetly trying to make eye contact, which he resolutely ignored whilst trying to stop himself from giggling.
The upshot of the meeting was that while G is doing very well academically he's a completely disruptive little twerp who talks the whole time in class, is always in the thick of any trouble that may be going on and she told us how he laughed all the way through a pagent that the senior infants put on in the hall, it wasn't meant to be funny, apparently.
So, stiff words were had with G afterwards and he's promised to behave much better in the future.
We will see.....
