Its nice to have something like that to look forward too. Very exciting.

I am going to meet up with a friend who has been divorced and remarried soon. We'll have a lot of catching up to do and I and looking forward to that. We are going to book a hotel half way between our homes and do some Christmas shopping, go for a meal and of course talk all night!

mummylin2495 · 15/11/2008 16:34

i got sidetracked from hre as my ds came round for while.yes you will have a great time wotz, and like you i expect we will also chat all night ,but i will try and arrange it for after xmas now as there is a lot coming up in the next few weeks ,we have a joint birthday party for my ds and my gs who will be 18 and the next day is his dad,s [ my ds ] birthday so they have hired a hotel for the evening ,we will stay there for the night which will be very nice,I cant believe i have a grandchild of that age as i feel nowhere and nothing like a grandmum !!!especially when i have friends in their 30,s and i have chidren the same ages !!!

from what i have been seeing on some of the threads on here i wont be venturing far from my comfort zones !!im not brave enough to take on some of the angry posters !!!! ps wotz my mum has now spoken to the mum of my newly discovered friend and they too are going to reunite and that mum is 86 !!!!! she has a male friend who she sees but said to my mum " nothing too serious at the moment " ha ha ha .maybe we should arrange a meeting with all the mums at the same time ,although sadly there are now a couple no longer with us.

Zoo sounds fab. I have been in ordering Xmas things online and seeing how far I can make my Tescos clubcard vouchers stretch. Double points and all that.

Waltzywotzy · 15/11/2008 19:50

Well its just nice to know you keep ticking along TBH.

Sometimes it's like going to the doctors and they ask how you are and I reply "fine thankyou" . But you know they want all the nitty gritty, but it's your choice how much you offload here, so don't ever feel bad about it.

Tn0g · 15/11/2008 19:51
