Feel sad and low in self esteem. I hope I wake up feeling better. Don't like feeling this low and sad.

Tomorrow is a new day! You only live once. Have sweet dreams and wake up with a new start. You can do this ♥️

ScaredAndPanicky · 01/11/2026 22:53

Sorry to hear that.
Hope you feel better tomorrow.
Can you do something tomorrow to help improve your mood - go for a walk, or have coffee with a friend?

BringOnTheLogBurner · 01/11/2026 22:53

Oh no. Is it a new feeling that's come on suddenly. Or a general feeling of how life is?

Hopefully a good nights sleep can help you feel more positive tomorrow

Would it do any good to say when I went through a long period like this I eventually found dragging myself out for daily walks good and now autumn I could cover my hair with a hat and the coat hid the fact I was wearing any old thing.

I'm so sorry you are feeling sad. Sending good thoughts your way, look after yourself, you are important too.

I can empathise OP. It’s rubbish isnt it. Hope you feel better in the morning.

I would book yourself in to see your GP and get some blood tests. You could be lacking in iron or vitamins. Worth checking.
Could be worth getting antidepressants, but might not be necessary....talk to your GP.
Getting out for a walk does help, but I know yhat can be really hard to motivate yourself to do. Do you have a garden? Even just being outside for a while in the garden can help to lift our spirits.
I haven't got a SAD lamp but am thinking of getting one for the very grey dismal days we will most likely get.

When I get like this I go through the RAIN mindfulness practice. I won’t explain it here because I won’t do it justice but please do a search for it online. It really helps.

Hi OP, sorry to hear you haven't haven't had the best day and its left you feeling low and doubting yourself. I can empathise as I know what this sort of day can feel like. What i do and I am in no way suggesting that you do this, is do a mental inventory of what i managed during the day even if it is things that feel small. Such as today, i sorted all the recycling and washed and blow dried my hair. Hope you get some restful and restorative sleep
