Spooky Noises

First child free Halloween in a long time. Flicked through channels and waited - although no one came trick or treating.
At one point I tuned into sounds above the living room. Normal sounds as if the family were here - except they were not!
As soon as I tuned out the sounds resumed, but whenever I noticed them they stopped.
Supwr weird.

Your mind is so attuned to those sounds it's filling the blanks subconsciously, and
when your focus they go because they aren't there. Happens to me alot with my sons sounds, I swear I hear him when it's not possible, he's asleep.
