I've just got in from late lunch & drinks with friends & about to pick up my crochet. Dd2's off in the shower. Dd1's messaging me pics from London of her last minute Halloween night out 1 costume. So far it's lacking any particular Halloween element...but what do I know!?

Possibly walking the dog shortly but there have been fireworks earlier, which have now stopped, so he's been stressing and will be wary of going out.

Our oldest son and his girlfriend are coming over to join us and his younger brother later, I’ll cook some burgers and there’re other snacks too and we’ll find a film to watch.

Just cooking dinner (pizza pasta bake), going to have a shower, put on a facemask and do some colouring whilst I watch Ghosts on Netflix. Not very exciting I'm afraid!

Had a long day in the garden and feel deliciously tired, so I've got jacket potatoes baking in the oven and I'm about to have a really hot, bubbly bath and wash my hair, then get into my PJs for a date with the Traitors.
I love days like today!

I’m at work until 10.30pm tomorrow…

I am cold and hungry.

I’m just waiting for my husband to finish cooking the rice for my tea, then I have a night of TV including the new episodes of Dexter, SVU, and Dark Matter - so I’m set

Watching old episodes of big bang theory eating biscuits 😁😁
Went out today for the first time in two months so aching legs and tired.
But i got out so bonus.
Eldest son getting ready to go out, youngest is out with his girlfriend.

Corned beef and bubble and squeak for tea, followed by an evening under the heated throw, eating chocolate and watching soaps

We've had an airfryer dinner of picky bits in the front room and watching Hocus Pocus (1&2!) whilst waiting for Traitors finale!

Had a really unexpected catch up with a friend and her DS stayed with us afterwards for a few hours which was lovely. He has had a bit of a tough go of things but he really is a good egg, the DC have played really well together.

I have wine (although I have a savage headache so I suspect it will just be the one glass!).

Cooking and eating fish & chips so they coincide with DH getting home from work, and then watching the Traitors final. DH will probably go down the pub.😂

At my parents’ as I’m caring for them at the moment. Dinner is in the oven, and then I’ll watch Traitors - sad that I’m away from home and not watching it with the family.

Dippy eggs for tea then wallowing in a nice hot bath for a bit. Early night as I’m exhausted.

Still full from a very large pub lunch. Feet up in front of TV and log burner. That's it until bedtime.

Our oldest and his friends are obsessed with watching tiktoks (supervised) about Korean work lunches. So they’re coming round tomorrow to have one, so I’m making most of the food tonight and I’ve borrowed some trays with the little compartments from his school. He’s given me twenty things and from that I’ve had to pick what I’ll make so the items will be a surprise, but not something he thinks they won’t like.

I’m almost done, my husbands putting the youngest to bed, so we’ll go for a bath soon.

So a wild Friday night.

Last night to work, then nearly 3 weeks off.

Waiting for Traitors and then going to bed. Exciting times!

Day out in Reading to see the replica Bayeux tapestry, now got my face around a pizza and having some wine.

I have just fished a fruit fly out of my glass of Shiraz. I had planned to cook soup, but the cat wanted a snuggle, so I Was Not Allowed. Now, I CBA and will just eat fruit, cereal and yoghurt (breakfast food). Next, I will go onto Youtube and watch a handsome and very talented young guitarist and singer-song writer, and arse about on Mumsnet for a bit.
