DH decided to flush out the cars cooling system, he lost a really tiny clip so has one on order. So that’s no car for 2 days. I popped some sweets for reverse trick or treating in to a friends house it’s a 1.5 mile walk with DH and then did a big shop and DS very kindly picked us up and dropped us home as he was in the area. I made some Halloween Decorations, did a lot of laundry, had dinner watched a box set and then played a horror game on my console Dead by Daylight.

Awoke early and couldn't get back to sleep.☹️
Popped to chemist to collect my prescription and Screwfix to pick up some wire, traffic was awful.☹️☹️
Took Ddogs for a lovely walk and had a great game of fetch.🐕🙂
Decided to give my car a wash (good old fashioned bucket & sponge job).
Put up some climbing wires and tied back a jasmin that was getting out of control.
Spent this evening doing a jigsaw and watching a couple episodes of Dinnerladies on DVD.

Really quiet here, my OH has been away in the MoHo for a couple of nights visiting some military museums so it is just me and Ddogs.
Bliss.😁

First day back at work after a week of annual leave where I sat on my arse in my house. My colleagues gave me lots of hugs which was very sweet. Visited my patients (I’m a district nurse) and apparently no lifts are working in my area today so I have literally climbed a mountain with a full kit of equipment on my back. Come home and my ds’s have shown off their Halloween costumes. (They look fab) Now having a quiet vodka with the DH with the cats on our laps.

I’ve had a bit of a shit day. I realised I’m £1000 short of a bill I need to pay and it’s after a long year of trying to better my circumstances. I’m so nearly there but this £1000 is the hurdle that is going to wipe me out. I never realised how much financial strain can impact on mental health, but I am on my last legs. Then I came home and had a row with MIL because she was belittling DP.

Yesterday was good, I passed a university exam, bought some new shoes. Then DH has visual disturbances so we’ve been waiting in Urgent Care. He’s been sick for about 10 months and still hasn’t seen any specialists due to waiting lists. I’m so tired of it all.
