Sorry this type of thing has probably been down to death.

I am struggling though.

They love gaming and Minecraft in particular and were after much asking, bought a playstation for their Birthday in the Spring - between us and both sets of grandparents.

We have games for this on the list but don't want all the presents to be Playstation focused.

They don't need a new bike and we got a new scooter at the start of the summer hols as they had really outgrown their's.

They are not overly sporty but do play cricket though they don't need anything for that.

Not massively into clothes yet and are still happy to be dressed by me - I like to think I have decent taste though 🤣😅.

They seem to be on the way out of playing with toys which I'm so sad about.

They got a kids Alexa last Christmas and have a kids digital camera. They do love messing about with the image editing suite on my DH's Google phone.

I've looked at a few things on Smyths but a lot of things seem to have bad reviews.

They do still LOVE Lego but the choice is overwhelming and they don't particularly have anything in mind

They enjoy STEM stuff, and a friend has a Crunch Labs subscription, they are always desperate to play with the builds when they go round - I looked though and this is crazy spenny, there are lots of copies of the types of builds Amazon but the reviews are mixed.

Some ideas for things he could play with pals on a play date would be good rather than them just being on the playstation.

I would personally prefer things that aren't messy, although we do have a messy play area in the garage.

Thank you!

Would they enjoy/you consider doing a day/weekend out as a gift? Legoland or the National Space Centre are two options, and you could gift either a lego set or cheaper/second-hand telescope to tie into the gift.

If you'd prefer to stick with physical presents, the lego gear bots sets are great Amazon.com: Klutz Lego Gear Bots Science/STEM Activity Kit for 8-12 years : Toys & Games
