Yellow carrots in England supermarkets?

Just been in a couple of countries in mainland Europe where yellow carrots seem common. Has anyone seen them either fresh or frozen (including as part of a mix with standard yellow carrots or other veg) in any UK supermarkets please?

Waitrose sometimes have different coloured carrots: yellow, or more commonly, purple.

I’ve seen them in the past but not recently, also purple ones, sold mixed as rainbow carrots

Yes they sell them in Tesco

Tesco had a presentation pack of carrots in all sorts of colour carrots a few days ago.

Orange carrots are a fairly new thing in the history of carrots I think.

We had yellow and purple ones in our veg box this week.

Lidl had a variety pack with various colours last weekend

Yes we get rainbow carrots, usually get them from farm shop but also have in Waitrose and Sainsburys. Think you can also grow them yourselves.

I had them in my Abel & Cole veg box once last year (first time) and usually get purple ones at least once a year.

I’ve been eating purple carrots (really outstanding) for several weeks now, courtesy of Riverford.

Weirdly cannot remember if they ever sell the yellow variety.

Lidl have some ‘rainbow’ carrots in atm- we had the purple, yellow and a slightly white one in there!

Often sold as rainbow carrots but then when you cook the together the purple ones dye the yellow ones purple.

Thanks all, will try Lidl and Waitrose for starters. Delivery boxes not really a route I want to go down so it’s good to know some supermarket
s might sell them here.

Are you one of those people who still believes veg box delivery means being tied into receiving a load of stuff you don’t want every week, relentlessly?

Happy to tell you my Riverford delivery is as easy and flexible as my Ocado delivery. I pick exactly what I want and only order when I want to. The only difference is that there’s a regular weekly delivery slot (which I can take or leave).

Ocado have M&S rainbow carrots and I think Natoora mixed carrots too. Very pretty.

There's a la-di-dah farm shop near us that sells them in packs with orange, yellow and purple all together, but they honestly aren't worth the expense.

They taste like carrots and look like parsnips.
